Spiritual Temple Experiences

We had some really cool experiences this week. We baptized Carolyn and Stewart last Saturday and then this week we were able to take them to the temple! It was such a spiritual experience. They took the name of their son that died in a car crash 6 years ago. It was a very special, emotional and spiritual experience. They were thrilled and it was definitely the highlight of the week. Experiences like those make all the hard days worth it.

 

It's starting to get really cold here in the mountains. And we're still on bikes. After our dinner last night we came back outside and there was frost on our seats and handlebars. The nights are especially cold.

Sunday night we got our transfer news. I'm staying in St. John's this transfer and I'm training a brand new missionary, and I'm still district leader. I'll find out who my trainee is tomorrow but it'll be a crazy experience. I'm on my way down to the valley to spend the night there, so I can pick up my companion tomorrow.
