Helen's Baptism

Image
Hey sorry this is gonna be a little shorter. Not a whole lot is changing on a week to week basis. However this area is seriously awesome!! I love St. John's. There's so much happening here and I seriously love the people we're working with. This week we had a baptism for Helen! She's come so far. The baptism was really good and the spirit was strong. Something else cool was that we found another new person this week that wants to be baptized. Her name is Brooke and she's been coming to church for a long time, so it should be pretty good. Sorry this wasn't very long, but hopefully I'll make up for it next week.

Bike Accident

We had another awesome week this week! First things first, Helen passed her baptismal interview. She has come such a long way since we started meeting with her. We've been setting goals, and she's been crushing them. We're super excited for her baptism this week, and we hope everything goes well. I ripped a big hole in my shirt and over the left pocket of my pants. Thankfully I was wearing a helmet because I smacked the back of my head on the ground and totally smashed the helmet in. In shock, I got up and carried my bike home, but when we got home my neck...

Hope this letter finds you guys well!! This week we saw so many miracles and it was so spirit filled!! I'll start at the beginning of the week with zone conference. We had a General Authority visit our mission! Elder Kyle S. McKay. He spoke in this last general conference. It was so cool to have him here.  He talked a lot about the power and authority of our calling. He also discussed finding and teaching with URGENCY. we really do have the most important message on this earth and time is running out. Everyday counts and our time is so limited! This mission and this mortal life is so short and this message is so important. We all left the conference ready to hit the streets and share the good news. Then the next day me and one of my roommates got really sick, so it was kind of disappointing the day after the zone conference, but then the next day we pedaled our hearts out to make up for it. There's this woman that we're working with named Helen, and she's just about rea...
