New Companions

Hey everyone!!     Another great week. We got our transfer news this week. My companion is going up to the mountains to finish his mission in English work. He's pretty bummed out about it, but I guess there's something up there for him. I'm staying and taking over the area this transfer, and I'll still be the district leader. We have 3 new members of our district out of the 6 total and one of them is my new companion Elder Martinez Garcia. He's a native Spanish speaker from Puebla city Mexico, so that should be really cool. He'll be my second native companion and I'm really hoping to learn a lot from him this transfer. He hasn't been out for very long, but I think we're gonna have a great transfer.     This week we taught some lessons. We taught Jesus, and he's still progressing super well. He brought his brother Jesus, and the both of them want to start taking the lessons. We think we're going to ask him to be baptized soon, and his brother ...

What A Blessing To Serve

Hey guys!! Sorry for the missed email last week. I've just been really busy on my p days. I'm loving my area here in Mesa. We are getting so much work done and the people we're teaching are progressing really well. We have a couple people on date for baptism right now and some others that are progressing super well. We still have Bruno on date to be baptized on the 15th so we're pretty excited about that. He came to church a couple days ago and so he's just about ready. One of the youth in our ward that's 15 brought one of his friends to church named Jesús. We've taught him a few times and he's progressing really well. He's also come to church the last 4 weeks in a row. He's really cool. He's been reading the Book of Mormon and he's also started praying for the first time in his life. We were with him for the first prayer he's ever said and it was a really spiritual experience. After he was done, he said that he felt really good. I lo...
