New Companions

Hey everyone!!

 

 

Another great week. We got our transfer news this week. My companion is going up to the mountains to finish his mission in English work. He's pretty bummed out about it, but I guess there's something up there for him. I'm staying and taking over the area this transfer, and I'll still be the district leader. We have 3 new members of our district out of the 6 total and one of them is my new companion Elder Martinez Garcia. He's a native Spanish speaker from Puebla city Mexico, so that should be really cool. He'll be my second native companion and I'm really hoping to learn a lot from him this transfer. He hasn't been out for very long, but I think we're gonna have a great transfer.

 

 

This week we taught some lessons. We taught Jesus, and he's still progressing super well. He brought his brother Jesus, and the both of them want to start taking the lessons. We think we're going to ask him to be baptized soon, and his brother shouldn't be too far behind him. I'm really excited for them. Unfortunately their mom isn't totally on board yet with them investigating the church but that hopefully comes soon. We had a disappointing lesson with Bruno this week in which he told us he's not ready to be baptized next week. We're going to keep working with him though and see if we can't get him to understand the importance.
