Diamondbacks Game

Hey guys

Sorry I didn't get an email out last week. I was out super late that night. The last two weeks have been super awesome.

 

 

The weather has been killer here a few times. It's really starting to heat up and we've been on a bike. My comp and I have both been having a bunch of bike problems. My seat and handlebars won't stay on and my comps tire frame bent so his tires don't even spin. So, we both got loaner bikes. On my second day on the loaner bike, the pedal broke off of it so they put me on a second loaner bike that is way too small for me, but it's all they had.

 

 

Last Monday my comp and I got permission to go to a Diamondbacks game with my uncle Ryan and cousin Tyson. It was a blast. That's why I ended up not emailing. It was super cool to see them because I haven't seen either of them in quite a while. 

 

 

This week we had a baptism for someone we're teaching! Naitsirc is 9 and she got baptized on Friday. Then, we went to her birthday party on Saturday, and then she was confirmed on Sunday. She's pretty cute and funny. I got to speak at the baptism on the holy ghost in all Spanish. I thought it went really well.

 

 

My Spanish is getting a lot better. I'm so glad to be back in Spanish work. I love working with these people. We have been working with a guy named Bruni that we put on date this last week and he's doing really well. It's been a bit of a struggle for us to find new people here, partly because it's harder to find Spanish people in this area than it has been in my previous Spanish area. But, we'll keep working at it.
