18 Year Old Decisions

Happy Monday everyone!!!

This week was a pretty good week! We started off the week with a pretty funny experience. I was on an exchange with someone in my district this week so I was in a different area. My companion and I went and donated blood, which we later figured out was against the rules, but we didn't know so that's sinning in ignorance. They told us to go have a big meal after so we went to subway. While we were checking out, the worker looked through the window behind us and said oh no it's the cookie monster. Apparently, this lady comes in every single day and gets just cookies. So, I made a split second 18 year old decision and we bought all the cookies that they had. All 28 of them. She came in as the worker was dumping the cookies into a box for us. The lady was pretty annoyed, and so she left. My comp and I felt pretty bad about it, but she had driven away. So, on the way to our first appointment, we saw her truck sitting in her driveway. We decided that we were gonna go knock and offer her all the cookies. We knocked and she answered and said oh it's the cookie culprits. We offered them and she said she didn't want all of them, but she'd take a few of them. While we were there we got some service lined up with her and we gave her a restoration pamphlet and she said we could come back and talk to her about it. That's my inspired finding story for the week. The Lord uses even the dumbest of his servants.

On Wednesday we did some service for Sissy by planting some trees for her in her yard. My allergies are starting to act up and we're surrounded by trees so it hasn't been too good.

We had a zone conference this week which is one of my favorite days of the transfer because we get to see all the missionaries in the mountains. It's so much fun and then we also receive training and do role plays and stuff. This conference we learned about extending invitations, inviting people to sacrament meeting and developing Christlike attributes. It was really good.

Sunday we had 5 people come to church which was awesome. Randy and his whole family came, Cosma and her mom and another little girl came and also Debby came. It was pretty awesome.

Also we had a ward Easter picnic on Saturday that a couple people we're teaching attended.

That's all I got for this week. Love all you guys, have a great week!!
