Entire District Staying Again
Hey guys!!
This week we had kind of a mixed week, but it was still good!
Cosma had an interview this week so she's all ready to go. Her baptism will be this Saturday and so we're really excited for her. She is the youngest person in her family and the only one that'll be a member. She has so much support from the ward and she loves coming to church and mutual. We're really hoping to get started with her family after her baptism so that'd be really awesome.
We're still working with Randy. It's looking like we're gonna need first presidency approval for him, so we might have to wait a while but he's hanging in there. He still loves meeting with us and he's such a great guy. He's been really wanting to get baptized, but the wait doesn't seem to be getting him down. He understands why it had to be that way so it's really awesome. I love him.
Sunday night we got transfer news. My entire district is staying for a third transfer in a row and I'm becoming the district leader. It's extremely rare for an entire district to stay together this long, but for whatever reason all of us will be here again. It's pretty exciting, but being district leader is going to require some extra work so we'll see how it goes. It'll be interesting.
As of right now, I've already spent most of my mission in English, and I have this next transfer in English again. It kinda sucks, but there definitely are some things that you learn from being in your native language that you can't learn while speaking another language.
I'm sooo excited for conference in a few weeks. That's gonna be so good. I wonder what the Prophet has in store for us.
The other day I was talking to a guy we're teaching that's catholic about how President Nelson went and met with the Pope. And during the conversation he mentioned that he didn't like Pope Francis and that he didn't trust him. What a blessing it is that we have a living Prophet today that righteously guides the church, the Heavenly Father wants. That we can trust him and trust his counsel and guidance. We truly are blessed.
I love all you guys and hope you have a great week!!
