Stuck In The Snow

Hey family!!

 

 

I hope everyone's doing well!! This week was pretty crazy! We had some weird experiences this week that I never thought I would have.

 

 

We started some exchanges this last week on Tuesday night and so I was with another Elder until Thursday morning. Then we switched companions and I had another exchange Thursday. On Thursday it started snowing super hard. So, me and the Elder I was with couldn't leave the apartment the whole day Thursday. Then, Thursday night, it was still snowing but we had a lesson, and the other elders were supposed to come with us so all 4 of us started driving to the appointment. On the way there we decided it probably wasn't a good idea so we turned around and on the way back the other elders got stuck. So, in an attempt to get them unstuck, we got our truck stuck. So, the 4 of us had to hike the half a mile back to our apartment. So, we all spent the night in our little apartment. The next morning, we hiked the half mile back to the trucks in literally knee deep snow and tried to get them unstuck. We couldn't get them out so we hiked another half mile back and spent the entire day in the small apartment. Then we all spent the night in our apartment again. Saturday morning, we hiked out there again and finally got one of the trucks unstuck. So, we packed back and packed overnight bags and then drove 30 minutes to the other elders apartment in Heber and spent the night there. On Sunday after church, we finally got the second truck unstuck. It was a weird experience and I think I could go without seeing these elders for a while. I can definitely say I wasn't planning on having an experience like that when I got called to Arizona. Crazy!

 

 

Sunday night we taught Cosma again and her mom was there as well!! And she accepted a Book of Mormon and an invitation to come to church next week!! So we're hoping that goes well.

 

 

We're still playing the waiting game with Randy so we're hoping his hearing goes well on the 11th of March.
