Transfers

The last time I emailed was a few days ago, but a ton has happened in the last few days. Friday, we did a bunch of service in the morning. We were clearing branches out of someone's yard and taking out a ton of trash and stuff like that. Then later, we had a practice for our ward Christmas live nativity play thing. 

 

 

On Saturday we did more service in the morning, putting together little goodie bag type things. Then we had a lesson with Rosa and Mizael with our Bishop. They are a real handful. They live together but aren't married which is what's keeping them from baptism but they have insane relationship issues. It's gotten so bad to the point that we kinda have to turn them over to the ward, who is turning them over to a counselor. So hopefully those get worked out. They've actually been doing a lot better and Rosa said that Mizael is a completely different man since he started coming to church with us. So they are getting really close to baptism. Saturday night was the ward Christmas party and Rosa and Mizael showed up for that which was cool and after the party we heard the news that one of us is going to the mountains but we didn't know who. Then on Monday night we found out that I'm going up to the mountains.

 

 

They're transferring me up to the mountains in Snowflake. It snowed like 2 months ago up there. And it's been snowing there all winter long. On the bright side I get a car but it's really cold up there. My new companion is Elder Ware. I've never met him but I get to meet him tomorrow so hopefully I like him. I'm gonna miss Mesa and the people I've grown so close. Also I'm unfortunately moving to English work this transfer... I'm so angry that my Spanish is gonna have to take a break but I know there's a reason for it.
