Bike Problems

Hey family and friends!!

This was my first real week in the field. So... my zone has zone sports every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the mornings and we usually just play like basketball or ultimate frisbee or something so that is pretty fun. The other mornings I just have to do sit ups and push ups in my room or something because my companion doesn't like running. After exercise every morning we have study and between companionship study, personal study, and daily planning, it takes us all the way up until lunch. And then after lunch, we have language study for another hour, so we're not out of our apartment until at least one every day. On Thursday, I had just about every bike problem you could imagine, my bike was having brake problems and so I dropped that one off and they gave me a loaner and said we probably will have it done by Saturday night. Then, the loaner had brakes that didn't even work and neither did the gears so I went and switched that one in for the last loaner they had in my size and so now I'm using a bike that has brakes that don't disengage all the way and so it's super resistant when I pedal. And now it's Monday and still no word about my bike.

Now to the missionary side of things. We have an investigator named Andrew that is really cool and he wants to get baptized so bad. He loves the Book of Mormon and he's just a really good guy but he can't because he's living with a girl that is married to someone else and she is currently trying to get a divorce with this other guy but he doesn't want to sign it and they don't have enough money. I'm in the mesa area and the people here are extremely poor. And dirty. It's like I'm living in Mexico city honestly. Anyways... we have another investigator named Mary Elena and she is ready to get baptized except she too lives with someone she's not married to so we're waiting on that one too. We've found a few other people in the last week or so that we've taught a couple lessons to, but no other super solid investigators. We've gone tracting a few times, but none that's been really fruitful. That's pretty much it on the missionary side. Thanks everyone for all the prayers and letters and support!
